The StageTRUCK

The smaller StageTRUCK was designed in 2000 by a University Student, constructed by D Kidd and measures 7m by 5m
and weighs seven tons, so there is no need to worry about wind loadings.
It can be erected in 45 minutes by one person; the same goes for dismantling.
This of course does not include the time taken by performers to set up or vacate the stage.

This Stage is a favourite in the large festivals in the North and South of Ireland especially in the Xmas season
when it is used extensively in Xmas light switch on's   because of the speed at which it can be operated.

The small StageTRUCK can also lift up to one ton of lighting assembled in the roof area with its main roof lifting rams.
Once at working height the roof is lowered onto safety pins and square trusses on each corner.
The main safety feature of the roof is that it is, like the Larger Stage Hydraulically interlocked
which in layman’s terms means nothing can move or be moved unless it is supposed to
